Wedding and Documentary Photographer based in New Jersey, serving NYC, Philadelphia, and destinations worldwide
"The best photographs aren't the ones where everyone's looking at the camera. They're the ones where no one remembers I was there."
"My sister bought a camera that she never used and I picked it up one day for fun and never looked back — 18 years ago."
I'm Graison, a wedding photographer based in New Jersey with a documentary eye and a quiet approach. Before settling into this chapter of my life, I spent years traveling across more than 50 countries, learning how different cultures celebrate love, family, and connection. That journey shaped how I see the world and how I work today. Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of photographing over 300 weddings, from intimate backyard ceremonies in NJ to grand celebrations in NYC, Philadelphia, and destinations around the globe. Being immersed in so many places taught me how to observe without interfering, to adapt quickly, and to appreciate moments as they unfold rather than trying to control them.
Travel gave me perspective, but becoming a father changed everything. Welcoming my twins, Avery and Apollo, into the world shifted how I understand time, presence, and memory. Moments move faster now, and I'm more aware than ever of how quickly they pass. Parenthood has sharpened my sensitivity to the in between moments: the glances, the pauses, the feeling of being fully present with the people you love. Those are the moments I never take lightly behind the camera.
Today, I work primarily as a wedding photographer in New Jersey, New York City, and Philadelphia, though I still travel regularly for destination weddings when the story feels right. My approach hasn't changed much over the years. I photograph weddings with the awareness of someone who has seen the world widely and now lives with his heart rooted firmly at home. Every wedding reminds me that these days matter, not just for how they look, but for how they will be remembered years from now.
My goal is simple: to create images that feel honest, timeless, and deeply human. Photographs you can return to again and again, and still feel something.
If you're planning a wedding in New Jersey, NYC, Philadelphia, or somewhere further away, I'd love to hear your story. No pressure, just a conversation.
